What is happening in international trade shows?

Soccerex, the world’s biggest exhibition in the soccer industry, will be held in Gauteng from 26-28 November 2007. Dubai had been the annual Soccerex host for the past 6 years, but with the growing interest in SA as a soccer national leading up to 2010, Gauteng managed to secure the rights to host the next exhibition.

With China supplying more than three-quarters of the sport, outdoor and lifestyle equipment, clothes and shoes sold in SA, a trade show held in Beijing has more than a curiosity interest for our market.

EFFTEX 2007, organised by EFTTA (European Fishing Tackle Trade Association), will take place 15-17 June in Prague, Czech Republic. The last time EFFTEX was held in Eastern Europe was in 2005 when the show was in Poland.
